The Real Estate Market in Kansas City is Changing!
With 18 years of real estate experience, I have never seen the real estate market like this. Everywhere I read I hear about how slow the real estate market is today. That maybe true in some areas, but not in all of them. It is true that builders are lowering list prices. The last few new home contracts I have negotiated the builder has come down on their pricing significantly. On the flip side, in the past 3 weeks every resale contract I’ve written has had multiple offers. My last offer I wrote I just found out yesterday had 6 other competing offers. My business partner just informed me that one of our listings we have has received 3 offers today. With interest rates low and a supply of homes to sell, homes that are priced correctly are getting multiple offers and typically selling fast.
