My trip to Branson was very interesting. I got online before I left and found out that I wanted to fill up with gas before I left. My research found that gas was higher in Branson then the cities around Branson. Before I left I filled up with gas at an Olathe Kansas Quick Trip. On the way down I saw gas prices from $2.72 to $2.88 a gallon, quite a bit higher than the $2.99 it cost me in Olathe. Throughout Branson and the Table Rock Lake area, gas prices ranged between $2.92-$2.99 a gallon. A resident in Branson told me that the cheapest gas in the area was in Ozark, Missouri which was North of Branson. On the way back home I stopped off at a Quick Trip in Ozark, Missouri. I filled up the gas tank at $2.68 a gallon. If you know of areas where there is cheap gas, go to www.GasBuddy.com and update their website. On their website I found that the Southeast Missouri area had some of the least expensive gas in Missouri and Topeka, Kansas had the least expensive in Kansas.
